Dawson ISD will have an additional item for voters on Nov 7th ballot as the School Board of Trustees voted unanimously to recommend the $13.5 million bond.
The bond referendum is for a new Athletic Multi-Purpose Complex(New Ed Mitchell Field). Components for the complex will include an 8-lane track, home/visitor seating, pressbox, parking/road, walkway, concessions/restroom, locker rooms, new baseball and softball turf, and competition track and field features as funds become available.
Dawson ISD residents will have the opportunity to vote on the referendum beginning with early voting on October 23- November 3, 2023, and on election Day, November 7, 2023.
