New Early Release Days

Dawson Bulldog Family,

Dawson ISD will give students the option of early release on Wednesday, September 9th, and Wednesday, September 16th. The regular school day will end at 12 PM on each of these days. This change to the schedule was made to allow for additional teacher in-service. We will also provide tutorials/instructional support for students from 12 PM to 3:30 PM on these two days if you do not wish for your child to leave at 12 PM.

Principals will send a notice to parents concerning the early release days on Wednesday, September 2nd. Students whose parents choose to allow their child to release early must sign and return the campus office notification that will accompany the notice. Students who do not return the notice will complete the school day’s remainder in tutorials and enrichment activities. Dawson ISD will run buses for both the 12 PM release and our regular 3:30 PM release.

Again, the decision on what release time you choose for your child these days is at your discretion as parent or guardian.
