Welcome to Mrs. Brumley's teacher page! My name is Brittany Brumley and I teach 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Reading and Social Studies. This will be my 18th year of teaching, 4th year at Dawson. Along with teaching in the elementary, I am also the Dawson High Cheer Coach.

A little about myself!

I am from Euless,Texas (in between Fort Worth and Dallas.) I grew up in Euless and graduated from Euless Trinity High School. I attended Baylor University and graduated in 2003. I went back to my roots and taught kindergarten for 4 years and 1st grade for 10 years at North Euless Elementary.

I met my husband, Will, and decided to take a chance on the country life. I moved here in 2017 and started teaching at Dawson. My husband teaches Science in the high school, coaches cross country and tennis, sponsors the Dawg Pack, Student Council, and Broadcasting Club, and broadcasts the Dawson sporting events.

We have 3 dogs (Deets, Roux, and Miss Kay), 2 potbelly pigs (DIxie and Penelope), and a zillion chickens!

I love high school and college football, spending time with my family and friends, decorating, hosting parties, reading, and TEACHING!

I come from a long line of educators. I guess you could say its in my blood.

I know that the 2020-21 school year is going to be different for everyone! However, I know if we work together we will accomplish great things!

MEALS FOR REMOTE LEARNERS: Dawson ISD is planning to have meal pick-up’s on Wednesday’s 8 am until 10 am. Starting August 19th, parents will drive through the Elementary parking lot and stop at the awning by the Cafeteria and staff will bring meals out to you. We will also make them available by appointment as needed to accommodate parents work schedules. We will be serving 5 days of breakfast and lunch for each student. To receive meals, you must be enrolled at Dawson ISD.
